With a robust professional background spanning 18 years — 14 in industry and 4 in academic research — I am deeply dedicated to the realms of data engineering, data science, and software engineering. My academic journey led me through a master's program at Tsinghua University, where I tackled entity resolution problems between 2011 and 2013. Subsequently, during my Ph.D. from 2014 to 2017 at Tennessee Tech University, I served as a Research Assistant in the Knowledge Discovery Lab. My applied research interests cover a broad spectrum, including news mining, graph mining, anomaly detection, climate science, ads, and NLP. Over the course of my career, I have played pivotal roles in significant projects within big data technologies, contributing my expertise to esteemed organizations such as eBay, Samsung Research America, and Adobe R & D. My unwavering passion lies in crafting intelligent, scalable, and impactful systems to address the intricate challenges of the ever-evolving technological landscape.
